Feeling a little low on energy after you start your day ? Try this mid day energizer pick me up !
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of water
- 1-2 teaspoons of black tea (or 1 tea bag)
- 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice (adjust to taste)
- 1-2 teaspoons of honey
- Lemon slices (for garnish)
- Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Boil Water: In a small pot, bring 1 cup of water to a boil.
2. Brew Tea: Once the water is boiling, add the black tea. If using loose tea, steep for 3-5 minutes. If using a tea bag, steep for the time recommended on the package.
3. Add Lemon: Remove the tea from heat and stir in the fresh lemon juice. Sweeten with honey or sugar if desired.
4. Strain: If you used loose tea, strain the tea into a cup to remove the leaves. If using a tea bag, simply remove the bag.
5. Garnish: Add a slice of lemon and mint leaves if desired.
6. Serve: Enjoy your soothing cup of lemon tea!
